Self Referral

Most referrals to other specialists will require you seeing or speaking with a GP. However, there are a number of local services, listed below, that you are able to make self referrals to.

Sexual Health London

SHL.UK is a discreet sexual health service for Londoners. Our STI testing service is for people who have mild or no STI symptoms, and would like to get themselves checked. You can refer yourself to Healthshare for physiotherapy if you: Have a muscle or joint related issue/condition.Are registered with a GP within the areas we operate.Are over 18 years old. Are not under the care of a hospital consultant for the same problem. Live in one of our Hull, London, Dartford, Gravesend or Swanley catchment areas.

Counselling – Help Counselling Centre

Help Counselling is based on Portobello Road in central London. We offer one to one individual counselling to a wide range of people over the age of 18. We can be accessed by anyone residing in the Greater London area. If you would like to register for an appointment, please call between 10am and 5.30pm on weekdays. When you refer yourself to Help Counselling, we will take some details, including your name, contact number, and times when you’re available to attend.

Community Living Well

Community Living Well offers a range of services to support your social wellbeing, physical and mental health needs. We try to make it as easy as possible for you and other professionals to access our services by using a single point of access and including a self-referral option. If you are 16 and over and registered with a GP in Kensington and Chelsea or Queen’s Park and Paddington area of Westminster, you can refer yourself to the Community Living Well service quickly and securely.

Asperger Support Signposting and Information Services Team (ASSIST Programme)

ASSIST provides free support, advice and social groups for adults with, or seeking, a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome and pre and post diagnostic information and advice service for adults who do not meet their local FACS (Fair Access to Care Services) eligibility criteria for further support. ASSIST runs a weekly social group and a monthly outings group.
